When Irisneri Alicea Flores started her research over a decade ago, she did not realize what she was unlocking. She unlocked a world where there is healing, a world where there is empowerment. Because there is nothing like reclaiming our family history and the knowledge of the history of our ancestral countries. The world where there are resources available for free to little cost. A world of hard working Genealogists that have helped preserve our Hispanic heritage. Through her keynote Irisneri wants to open that world to her community and make them realize "mi gente estuvo aqui tambien".
